The 2022 Recycling Calendar and Schedule Map are available on the City's website along with other recycling information. Some key highlights for this year:
- This schedule applies to curbside recycling service provided by the City of Charlottesville to residents who also use the City's curbside trash program.
- Printed copies of the schedule are unable to be mailed to residents as they have been in recent years. Instead, residents are encouraged to download the PDF from charlottesville.gov/recycling or contact Public Works for a printed copy
- Text Alerts are available! Sign up with your address for a text reminder before your recycling collection day. Text your address to 434-771-0251 to sign up!
- The City's curbside recycling service is accepting the same materials as last year- no changes! To confirm what can & can't be recycled, please check out the following tips and FAQs on charlottesville.gov/recycling:
