CPD Provides Information on Shooting Incident
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – On October 15th at approximately 5:15 PM a CPD Officer heard gunshots in the area of the Omni Hotel parking lot in Downtown Charlottesville.
Officers responded and located a male juvenile with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim has been transported to the UVA ER with serious injuries. A second male juvenile victim arrived at the UVA ER a short time after the shooting, with non-life threatening injuries. Two male juveniles were detained in the area and the incident is under investigation.
