Charlottesville Parks & Recreation to Start Spring Planting
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Starting this Wednesday, March 15, Charlottesville Parks & Recreation will be planting 160 trees around the City . The trees will be approximately 2.5” caliper at the root collar, with heights of 4-10 feet. Approximately 115 trees will be planted at the City schools, and the remaining trees will be planted in vacancies around the city.
Parks & Recreation plans to plant a larger number of trees in local parks, City streets, and rights of way next spring.
