CAT Continues Lifeline Service Model, Adds Additional Service to Select Routes

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA–
As the City of Charlottesville and State of Virginia transition from a Stay-At-Home to a Safer-At-Home status, CAT has seen a slight increase in passengers using its service.

To address this increase, CAT will continue the Lifeline service model with a few adjustments:  beginning June 1, 2020,  additional service will be added to Route 5, Route 7, and the Trolley.

Moving forward, CAT will  slowly adjust service levels while continuing to place the utmost importance on driver safety, passenger safety, and essential travel.
