[ARCHIVED] Power outage impacting City Hall; Early Voting Continues

Voter Registration & Elections is using City Council Chambers for early voting today


CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Dominion Energy is repairing electrical circuits servicing downtown Charlottesville.  Approx. 10,000 customers in Charlottesville-Albemarle area are without service. Estimated restoration of service is 12:00 to 3:00 pm. 

The Voter Registration & Elections office in the City Hall Annex has lost power.  However, the  voting location has moved to the City Council Chambers in the main City Hall building. Staff will be available between the buildings to guide voters to the temporary voting location.  Please allow additional time to vote today.

Their Voter office will ALSO be open next for early voting on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to  4:30 p.m.
