UPDATE: Missing Elderly Woman Located

UPDATE (2/12/2021 7 a.m.): Ms. Thomas has been safely located.


The Charlottesville Police Department is requesting the public’s help locating a missing and endangered elderly woman.

Thelma Thomas, a 74-year-old female, was last seen leaving a family member’s residence on Holmes Avenue shortly before 5 p.m. in a grey 2012 Toyota Corolla, with Virginia tags: 1AUNTTE.

Ms. Thomas suffers from dementia and other medical conditions, and there is a concern for her health and safety. She is 5’1’’ and 150 lbs.
