[ARCHIVED] Planned water outage scheduled for Monday, Nov. 1 in Barracks / Rugby neighborhood

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 29, 2021

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - On Monday, November 1, 2021, there will be a water outage between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. for a large area in the Barracks/ Rugby neighborhood.

Linco, Inc. is working on water infrastructure for the City of Charlottesville’s Department of Utilities along Rugby Road between the intersections with Barracks Road and Preston Avenue. All residents impacted by the outage will be notified by a door hanger on Friday, October 29, 2021. The map below shows the area of the water outage.
