Charlottesville Parks and Recreation strives to provide an environment for families of all ages to get outside, play, and enjoy the great parks and playgrounds our area has to offer. As part of normal scheduled maintenance, the City is replacing the playground equipment at Meade Park (ages 5-12) this year. These playground structures will be replaced in the winter/spring with new and exciting equipment!
Residents have spoken and the results are out for the survey conducted by the City of Charlottesville to determine what the overhaul of the Meade Park playground should look like.
Option 3 received 52% of the votes compared to Option 2 at 33%.
Vista Cube received 37% of the votes.
