4-Game Season Dates
Grades 1-4:
Practice Starts December 9

Grades 5-8:

Games / Practices
Teams play four games plus playoffs. Teams will practice before the season starts, and then once a week once games begin.

Coaches
All youth basketball coaches are volunteers. Interested coaches should contact Chris Stapler at athletics@charlottesville.gov. Coaches meeting dates:
Grades 1-4: Monday, December 4, 6 p.m. @ Carver Recreation Center
Grades 5-8: Monday, February 12, 6 p.m. @ Carver Recreation Center
Cost
- $17.00 for Residents
- $26.00 for Non-Residents
Rules
The Charlottesville Youth Basketball League will utilize Virginia High School League (VHSL) basketball rules.
