In an effort to assure accessibility to the City’s programs, services, and activities, the ADA Advisory Committee meets quarterly to review its programs and services. The ADA Coordinator staffs this committee which consists of representatives from various City Departments and persons with disabilities from the community.
The Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee is a voluntary advisory group within the City of Charlottesville dedicated to improving bicycle and pedestrian facility design and safety for all road users.
The Advisory Board shall serve as liaison to the Charlottesville City Council between the Park and Recreation Department and citizens of the City of Charlottesville.
