Trails and ADA Access

The following trails are fully ADA accessible

• Riverview trail (between Riverview Park and VFW fields)
• Azalea Park pathways
• Pen Park entry path and fitness trail
• Schenk’s Greenway
• Darden Towe Park river path (not including nature trails near Lewis and Clark Center)
• McGuffey Park
• Meade Avenue/coal tower trail
• Meadow Creek Parkway trails
• Rives Park loop trail
• Tonsler Park loop trail

The following trails under construction will be ADA accessible when complete

• 250 Bypass trail (with some steeper than accessible topography/slopes)
• Meadow Creek trail from Hydraulic Road through Greenbrier Park

The following trails are NOT ADA accessible due to surface, width, slopes, or lack of accessible stream crossings

• Pen Park nature trail along river
• Meadowcreek Gardens
• Northeast Park/Davis field
• McIntire Park nature trails
• Greenleaf Park nature trails
• Frys Springs Park
• Jordan Park
• Holmes Avenue
• Moore’s Creek (Fry’s Springs area)
• Ragged Mountain Natural Area
• Ivy Creek Natural Area
• Sugar Hollow
