The league consists of regular season games (typically 6-8 games) followed by a single-elimination playoff tournament. 5v5 full-court play, with standard P&R modified rules along with VHSL high-school basketball rules as the base.

Registration covers the cost of the regular season (typically 6-8 weeks) plus playoffs for qualifying teams, two trained referees, and 12 team jerseys and/or numbered t-shirts.

Games typically consist of two 20-minute halves with a running clock, stopping only in the final two minutes of the second half for dead balls and free throws.

Participants can register as a free agent to inquire about being placed on a team.
