  • The Athletics Department reserves the right to move any team to balance the league or split the league into more divisions. Past performance and rosters are used to help make decisions.

    Pro:

    • This division is designed for highly competitive teams with advanced skill levels and prior league or tournament experience. These teams often have strong rosters, strategic play, and consistent performance. This division is best suited for players seeking a fast-paced and competitive environment.

    Rookie:

    • This division is ideal for newer teams, players returning to the game, or those looking for a more recreational experience. While still structured and competitive, the focus in this division is on fun, learning, and sportsmanship over intensity.

    Co-Rec Definitions

    • Teams must meet gender ratio requirements (typically a minimum number of female-identifying players in the lineup and on the field). Skill levels vary, but the emphasis is on inclusive participation and positive sportsmanship.

    1. A decision will be made to cancel by 4:00 pm. If rain occurs after 4:00 pm the decision to cancel will be made on-site.
    2. If a game cannot continue due to inclement weather, the score of the game will revert to the score of the last completed inning.
      • If 5 or more innings were complete at the time of the decision to cancel, the final score will be the score of the last completed inning.
    3. Rainout games are typically played the first available Sunday following the rainout. On these Sundays, the game times are moved up one hour. (Example: games scheduled at 6pm are played at 5pm on the make-up Sunday). In some situations, game times/dates may not follow this rule based on other scheduled events that take place at the softball fields.
