Ride-Along With An Officer
Are you curious about what the day-to-day of a police officer looks like? Do you want to be connected and in tune with what's happening in your community? Do you want to embark on a career path as an officer? The Charlottesville Police Department Ride-Along Program is available to citizens interested in law enforcement. The program offers a first-person, real-world experience, providing participants with a glimpse of what it means to be a police officer in our community. Ages 16 and up are eligible for the program.
