Solid Waste Management

Curbside Collection

Residential scheduled for weekly collection of household trash and biweekly collection of recyclables.

Commercial collection of refuse and recyclables scheduled daily at 7 am and 4 pm in downtown and uptown areas of the city.

Large Item Collection

Street Sweeping

The operational schedule for the Street Sweeping Program is based on Primary (PDF) routes and a designated Neighborhood Schedule 2023(PDF). The City’s primary streets are swept at least once every week and residential streets in designated neighborhoods are swept at least twice every year.  Neighborhoods are completed in a rotating order as operational capacity allows. (Note:  Street sweeping schedules are subject to change due to weather, work assignments, availability of operational resources, or emergencies.)

We encourage residents to coordinate their parking arrangements with their posted neighborhood sweeping schedule to reduce on-street parking impacts to our sweeping operations. Curb-to-curb sweeping creates cleaner streets for everyone.
