The 262.9 kW photovoltaic system was installed on CATEC in 2025, coming online in September that year. It consists of 478 panels that is expected to produce over 300,000 kWh annually and will meet over 60% of the school electrical needs. It was installed in partnership with CMTA and Tiger Solar. Additionally for a portion of the project, the project team was able to incorporate two solar installer professionals that were new to the workforce from FLIPP Inc, gaining valuable field experience. This PV system is currently the largest in the City and CCS portfolio.
