Traffic Advisory: Route 250 at Park Street

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 8, 2025

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Planned utility maintenance work will be performed in the east and westbound bound lanes of Route 250 in the vicinity of the Park Street ramps December 9 – 11, 2025 between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM, weather permitting.

We understand that this is in close proximity to residential areas, and there may be some noise associated with this work, but every attempt will be made to keep any disruption to a minimum.

Expect slow moving vehicles, lane closures, traffic delays, and short-term detours. Please obey posted signs, respect on-site traffic control personnel, and exercise all due caution while in the vicinity. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation while we facilitate upkeep on the City’s vital infrastructure.
